Pixels and Pen

I’m Neeraj Chouhan, 21, in Mumbai. After high school I moved to Bangalore, started India’s first hacker house, helped founders raise funds, built a content agency, moved to Mumbai, worked on India’s biggest campaigns for brands like FedEx, Dove, Lakme, and Tata, directed a commercial for Maya shot across five cities, and now I’m building a company to nurture the next generation of filmmakers and stories from India to the world.

I believe quality storytelling outlasts algorithms and trends. Honest, well-crafted stories have lasting impact, and in a world where execution is increasingly automated and distribution is increasingly cheap, the durable advantage is the quality of the idea and the skill of the storytelling.

I’m building Pixels & Pen, a company to discover, fund, and support the next generation of Indian filmmakers. It combines a filmmaker program, a craft-focused podcast, and a theatrical screening event so that strong stories can be made, seen, and sustained.
